Ankara – Meetings and presentation on EU values

ESI's Gerald Knaus went to Ankara for meetings with the head of the EU Delegation Turkey, Jean-Maurice Ripert, and with Ambassador Haluk Ilicak, Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs, to present them ESI's research on visa-freee travel for Turkey. The next day, Gerald spoke at a conference organised by the Swedish Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation on "Human rights, European values and the future of the EU-Turkey relationship".
