Ghent – Film screening of ESI Croatia documentary at the Film Plateu

The Centre for EU Studies at Ghent University and the Basileus project, and the European Stability Initiative invite you to the screening of a documentary on Croatia's journey to the EU.

ESI has recently published this documentary movie called "Twilight of Heroes". The movie touches upon Croatia's ICTY process, the inner political dialogue and is largely based on interviews with all the important political figures. "Twilight of Heroes" is part of the award-winning series "Return to Europe" – www.returntoeurope.org – which comprises 12 one-hour documentaries about countries and cities in Southeast Europe. The series is an initiative of ERSTE Foundation based on research by the European Stability Initiative and co-produced by ORF, ORF/3sat, pre TV and Geyrhalter film production.

The documentary will be followed by a small debate and a reception. The screening will take place on September 25, at 19:30, at the Film Plateu, Padenhoek 3, 9000, Ghent.
