Brussels – ESI at Thessaloniki@10 conference: the Europeanisation of the Balkans

ESI's Gerald Knaus was invited to Brussels for a conference organised by the Institute for Strategic Studies (ISS) entitled "Thessaloniki@10: the Europeanisation of the Balkans – a reappraisal". Gerald was ona panel on "The Western Balkans and the EU: the regional perspective" together with Heather Grabbe (Open Society European Policy Institute). Other speakers included Rosa Balfour, European Policy Centre, Stefan Lehne, Carnegie Europe, Fernando Gentilini, European External Action Service, and Stefano Sannino, Director-General for Enlargement of the European Commission
