Brussels – ESI participates in TV debate

ESI's Gerald Knaus was invited to participate in the Austrian TV debate "ORF III Inside Brüssel" produced in the European Parliament in Brussels. Issues covered in the show ranged from the French intervention in Mali, the riots in Egypt, to the geopolitical role of Turkey. Gerald spoke on the visa liberalisation process for Turkey as well as lessons from previous interventions for the experience in Mali.
Other participants included Elmar Brok (Chairman of the foreign policy committee in the European Parliament), Vanessa Mock (Wall Street Journal), and Stefan Lehne (Carnegie Europe).
